Killin MRT have completed initial safety briefings with the Coastguard S92 helicopter, which takes over from the Royal Navy Sea King helicopters based at Prestwick at the end of December.
The Sea King and Royal Navy has served us well for many years.
The S92 brings state of the art technology to search and rescue. The red and white livery will become a familiar site in the hills. We look forward to working with the S92 crew, many of whom have moved over from the Sea King and have considerable experience in SAR in the mountains
